Mission

MERS Missouri Goodwill Industries was formed in 2001 by the merger of Metropolitan Employment and Rehabilitation Services and Missouri Goodwill Industries. Our mission is to provide opportunities for persons with barriers to employment to work and live more independently in the community. The primary focus and success of MERS Goodwill's employment and rehabilitation programs is in our ability to prepare people for the world of work. MERS Goodwill provides the opportunity to work toward the goals needed to achieve the maximum level of productivity in one's personal life and employment. Our services focus on the areas of: career counseling; deaf and hard of hearing; developmental disability; education and literacy; employment services; ex-offenders; senior services; skills training; veterans; and youth.
