Mission
The Jewish Federation of Central New Jersey (JFCNJ) is dedicated to strengthening the spirit of charity and community among the Jewish people. JFCNJ is the central address of the Jewish community in Union County and parts of Somerset. Federation's mission includes engaging all major Jewish groups within the community in order to advance social justice, enhance the quality of life for Jewish and non-Jewish members of our community, and maintain links with Jews in Israel and throughout the world. Through partner agencies, Federation provides direct services to the entire community. Local programs support a wide range of help to the elderly, youth and families including meals on wheels, home health care, educational and camp scholarships, transportation needs, social integration, rehabilitation, cultural awareness and counseling.
