Mission

The National Gaucher Foundation (NGF), established in 1984, has funded millions of dollars to support and promote research towards the cause, treatments and a cure for Gaucher disease. To meet the ever-increasing needs of individuals with Gaucher disease and their families, The NGF offers a wide range of programs and resources for the benefit of the Gaucher community. The NGF funds research, offers financial assistance, promotes education and awareness, supports legislative issues and provides outreach programs vital to the Gaucher community. Gaucher Disease is an autosomal recessive disease and the most prevalent Lysosomal Storage Disorder (LSD), with an incidence of about 1 in 20,000 live births.
