Mission

The mission of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Greater North Jersey Chapter is to end the devastating effects of multiple sclerosis (MS). The Greater North Jersey Chapter serves Northern New Jersey in Bergen, Essex, Hudson, Morris, Passaic, Sussex, Union and Warren counties. We provide over 100 programs and services to over 5,500 people with multiple sclerosis and their families and caregivers, all of whom are dealing daily with the physical and emotional challenges of the disease. We also support the national research effort to find the cause, treatments and cure for MS. On October 1st, 2008, the Mid Jersey and Greater North Jersey Chapters of the National MS Society became one. This merger resulted in the creation of the National Multiple Sclerosis, New Jersey Metro Chapter.
