Mission

Ronald McDonald House Charities of Metro St. Louis (RMHCSTL) is dedicated to providing a home-away-from-home for families of seriously ill children who are receiving treatment at area hospitals. Additionally, RMHCSTL provides support to organizations that serve the needs of children. St. Louis' three Ronald McDonald Houses offer parents and family members a respite from hospital waiting rooms 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The Houses are designed to bring the comforts of home to families far away from their own homes with a comfortable bed, a warm meal, kitchen and laundry facilities, and toys for the kids. Since the St. Louis House first opened its doors in 1981, over 20,000 families from all over the U.S. and several foreign countries have benefited from the services and hospitality provided by volunteers and staff of our Houses.
