Mission

Harvest Free Will Baptist Child Care Ministries was established in 1993 to care for children who were victims of abuse and neglect. Our philosophy is based on a belief that a healthy Christian home environment, caring parents, and a wholesome family life are fundamental necessities, if not rights, for every child. Today, Harvest serves 74 children ages 5-18 in its current facilities, located in Lee County. Harvests' facilities include the Jasper Cottage, which promotes a family-like atmosphere for 12 boys; Stickleyville Cottage, home to eight girls; the Emergency & Assessment shelter, which has a capacity of 22; the Ruby Dobson Cottage, which cares for 10 younger children; and the Intensive Services home, which cares for 22 children who need special attention.
