Mission
Gilda's Club Grand Rapids is a free support community of men, women, and children with cancer and those who love them. Founded with love by cancer survivors, we officially opened the doors of Gilda's Club Grand Rapids on February 15, 2001. However, the grassroots movement to bring a Gilda's Club to our community began in the spring of 1996 by local philanthropist Twink Frey. Gilda's Club offers more than 200 activities each month for adults, children and families. From health and fitness classes to informative lectures and fun social events, we're sure there is something here for you. Plus, sharing your cancer journey with others - whether personally diagnosed or impacted through the diagnosis of another - makes travelling the path a little easier.
