Mission

Established in 1998, the mission of the Disabled Veterans' LIFE Memorial Foundation is to raise the funds necessary to design and construct the American Veterans Disabled for Life Memorial. The U.S. Congress approved this national memorial to be built in Washington D.C. with the passage of Public Law 106-348. For the first time, America will pay tribute to some of our most courageous heroes - our disabled veterans. The American Veterans Disabled for Life Memorial will celebrate those men and women who may be broken in body - but never in spirit.
