Mission
Arthritis Foundation - Upstate New York Chapter is one of 150 Arthritis Foundation chapters and service points nationwide that provide community-based programs and raise funds. The mission of the Arthritis Foundation is to improve lives through leadership in the prevention, control, and cure of arthritis and related diseases. The Upstate New York Chapter serves the more than 1.5 million people in our area afflicted with arthritis and related diseases. We offer a variety of programs and events as well as provide assistance in finding a physician. Since arthritis comes in more than 100 forms, the Chapter provides informational brochures that can help you understand the complexities of the disease and make informed decisions about treatment.
