Mission

Founded in 1898, Wyman Center is a nationally recognized youth development organization that is preparing youth from disadvantaged circumstances to lead successful lives and build strong communities. Our programs enable youth to become self-confident, compassionate and accountable; know how to lead, plan, problem solve and communicate; be successful in school and in life; and be well prepared to act as contributing students, family members, employees and citizens. We are proving that given the correct supports, teens have the power to tap their talents and build a productive foundation for lifetime achievement, even when they are in economically disadvantaged circumstances.
