Mission

What began as one of New York City's first mentoring and college preparatory programs for disadvantaged high school students of color has matured into a dynamic national organization providing a broad range of educational and career development opportunities to hundreds of high school and college students each year. The SEO Career Program recruits and trains outstanding college students of color for summer internships that lead to full-time jobs with investment banks, corporate law firms and other leading global companies. The SEO Scholars Program prepares motivated New York City public high school students to gain admission and succeed at the nation's competitive colleges and universities. SEO's Alternative Investment Fellowship Program is an educational program for recent graduates from underrepresented groups in financial services.
