Mission
The mission of the Arthritis Foundation - Northern and Southern New England Chapter is to improve lives through leadership in the prevention, control, and cure of arthritis and related diseases. The Northern and Southern New England Chapter serves Connecticut, Maine, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont and Upstate New York - Clinton, Essex and Franklin Counties. We are working to better the lives of over 1.5 million people in our chapter area that have arthritis. The Foundation has 150 chapters and service points nationwide to provide community-based programs and to raise funds. The Foundation currently provides nearly $20 million in grants to nearly 300 researchers to help find a cure, prevention or better treatment for arthritis.
