Mission

State-wide social service agency. Inspired by scripture and the Church’s social teaching, Catholic Charities empowers and strengthens individuals and families of all faiths by providing innovative community-based social services throughout Maine. A faith-based, non-profit organization, we have been serving the poor and vulnerable populations of Maine since 1966. Our programs address mental illness, childcare development, senior outreach programs, addiction treatment, refugee and immigration assistance and food insecurity.

Vision

Our vision is to lift people up and transform lives throughout Maine.

Goals

1.Develop a structed and multidisciplinary framework for determining the need for and feasibility of new lines/models of service. Establishing a methodology for service line intervention and progress tracking, to provide support and guidance when sustainability challenges occur.
2.Adding $1 Million in new funding streams, from grants, contacts, and program activities of a three year period.
3.Enhance employee experience to retain quality employees by implementing a broad approach that responds to the workforce's increasing value of the employee experience.
