Mission

Make-A-Wish Maine grants life-changing wishes to children with critical illnesses. Fulfilling a child's wish provides an impactful experience that replaces fear with confidence and sadness with joy. Wishes can often lead to better health outcomes, according to a recent study. Founded in 1992 by Wayne and Caroline Morong in Camden, Make-A-Wish Maine has granted more than 1,900 wishes in all 16 counties to children in need of hope.
