Vision

DFX has a strategic vision of our future that focuses on: Impact: expansion of our impact on the lives of all children in Colorado and around the world who have developmental needs and mental health challenges through our mission-driven programs in the Clinic, Clinic in the Community, and Learning Journeys, creating systemic change rooted in communities of understanding and belonging. Innovation: exploration of innovative techniques related to providing comprehensive multidisciplinary care via Therapy that fits through research, elaboration, advocacy, and dissemination of best practices. Infrastructure: investment in capacity building for leadership and clinical expertise as well as a state-of-the-art, expanded clinic space and increased staffing to scaffold every program area.

Goals

1. 1.To meet the increased demand for our services, DFX will hire 2 FT occupational therapists, one FT and one PT speech-language pathologist, and 2 support positions in the next 2-6 months.
2. 2.DFX will expand our team of mental health providers and provide our clinicians with ongoing training so they can recognize and support the mental health challenges of the children we serve.
3. 3.With the support of DFX's Board of Directors, we have established an Innovation Fund to support the work of our leaders to engage in research, education, and advocacy on a national and global level.
