Mission

Our mission is to connect communities and empower individuals through transparent access to local government, media education, and community storytelling. Greater Northshire Access Television, Inc. (GNAT-TV) is a regional community media organization serving rural Southwestern Vermont. As the area’s primary television station and digital media hub, we deliver vital local news, public information, and media literacy education not available through commercial platforms. We serve citizens, local creators, organizations, schools, and governments, fostering civic engagement, democratic values, and a deeper connection to our region’s stories, traditions, and history. Our purpose is to strengthen the community through independent, accessible media. Our vision is an informed, engaged, and inspired public. Our strategic goal is to be indispensable to the people we serve.
