Mission

Family Services’ mission is to empower, nurture and support children and families through life’s challenges to help them reach their full potential. The agency does this by developing inner strengths, teaching life skills, and providing vital community-based resources through 22 programs that impact over 5,000 individuals annually.

Vision

Family Services envisions a future where all individuals are able to care for themselves, care for their loved ones, and contribute meaningfully to their community.

Goals

1.Expanding the geographic reach to reach more people in need throughout Essex County, MA
2.Expand capacity to serve individuals with more complex needs (e.g., incarcerated populations, chronically mentally ill),
3.Build capacity of the organization’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion committee to ensure cultural competence in the provision of services, personnel, leadership, and operations
