African Food & Peace Foundation

Mission

African Food and Peace Foundation (AFPF) supports community-initiated development projects in Africa. Our mission is to provide financial and strategic resources to long-term development initiatives in rural Uganda. Together with a community of friends with a philanthropist spirit in North America, we raise funds to support the work of URDT to reach the wretched rural communities in Uganda, which they cannot reach directly.

Vision

Empowering rural communities in Uganda to create for themselves peace, health, prosperity, freedom, and happiness. This way they can uplift and sustain their families and communities they live in.

Goals

1.Build a Multipurpose Resource Center for Women at the African Rural University- a sanctuary for growth, learning, and transformation.
2.Train more than 70k youth on disability and school dropouts in Western Uganda. The youth will then be able to gain entrepreneurship skills to create jobs for sustainability.
3.Enroll more students to the URDT Girls School and the African Rural University for Women.
