Mission

BellXcel builds the capacity of local school districts and youth development organizations to provide high-quality out-of-school time (OST) programs for children in grades PK-8. BellXcel's technology solutions and expert services equip partners with evidence-based tools and resources to impact students, educators, and families. Our solutions combine STEM-focused enrichment, social-emotional learning, and wellness activities for students; optional academic support in English/Language Arts and Math; professional development for educators and program staff; robust organizational and impact reporting tools; and family engagement and communication resources. Founded in 1992 to transform the academic achievements, self-confidence, and life trajectories of children of color, BellXcel's evolution is grounded in equity and the belief that all children can excel. In 2025, BellXcel and our 120 partners impacted the lives of over 130,000 students in 32 states and DC.
