Vision

Ellie Fund's vision is multifold: • To be widely known and trusted deep within communities BEFORE a breast cancer diagnosis, and for the promise of our services to encourage timely screenings • For each of the nearly 7,000 patients newly diagnosed for breast cancer in Massachusetts annually, to be offered Ellie Fund services at diagnosis as an opt-out with every breast cancer treatment plan • For our early interventions to lead to reduced late-stage diagnoses and fewer unnecessary deaths from breast cancer Ellie Fund has never required proof of need, making our services available to any patient experiencing emotional, physical, or financial distress during treatment.

Goals

1. 1.Serve over 2,000 patients – one third of all breast cancer patients diagnosed in Massachusetts in a year – in 2026, with a focus of increasing the diversity of Ellie Fund's patient population to better reflect women of color who are dying from breast cancer 41% more than White women despite a 4% LOWER incidence rate.
2. 2.Identify and develop strategic funding partners that will allow Ellie Fund to develop new initiatives that will support more breast cancer patients.
3. 3.Prioritize organizational health, diversity, and operations to establish a stronger foundation that is necessary to support organizational growth and impact.
