Mission

The Association for Autism and Neurodiversity (AANE) - formerly known as the Asperger/Autism Network - helps Autistic and similarly Neurodivergent people build meaningful, connected lives. We provide individuals, families, and professionals with education, community, and support, in an inclusive atmosphere of validation and respect.

Vision

A world where Autistic people belong and thrive.

Goals

1.AANE will continue to establish itself as a nationally recognized and trusted presence for Autistic adults, Autistic teens, families, and professionals.
2.AANE will continue to expand the organization's DEI efforts using data informed decision making.
3.AANE established an internal working group in FY24 to assess and improve IT related challenges such as data collection, management, and analysis, in addition to increasing efficiency.
