Vision

Patriot PAWS envisions a world where veterans and others with mobile disabilities experience independence, regain dignity, and improve their quality of life through receiving a service dog. Using our time-forged relationships and unique programming to not only improve veterans and their families' lives, but the lives of inmate trainers, college students, and volunteers as well. Knowing that Patriot PAWS alone cannot meet the rapidly growing need for high-quality service dogs, Patriot PAWS is committed to assisting other service and assistance dog training programs achieve ADI accreditation, increasing the number of service and assistance dogs available for veterans and others in need.

Goals

1. 1.Upgrade/enhance operations & facilities to ensure success in meeting Patriot PAWS goals. Including the creation/implementation of a custom non-profit portal for data, client information, & more.
2. 2.Optimization of our Aggieland Program, including strengthening the training curriculum, amplifying the program’s impact, and evaluating the efficacy of program components.
3. 3.Augment capacity of staff including hiring trainers and kennel staff, increasing education opportunities to ensure that staff is equipped, knowledgeable, and capable of becoming industry leaders
