Mission

Valley United Way is a leading philanthropic organization serving the towns of Ansonia, Derby, Oxford, Seymour, and Shelton. Our mission is to improve lives by mobilizing the caring power of our community through philanthropy, volunteerism, and collaboration. We aim to improve the quality of life for people living and working in the Valley by funding programs and organizations that make a measurable difference. Valley United Way's purpose is to raise, invest, and leverage funds annually to help support 16 health & human service organizations whose work benefits those living in our five Valley towns.
