Mission

Danbury Animal Welfare Society (DAWS) is dedicated to improving the lives of animals in our community and beyond. We promote responsible pet guardianship, the humane treatment of animals, and work to end animal overpopulation through rescue, education, and compassionate care. Our mission is to protect, care for, and find homes for homeless and abandoned animals, both locally and through lifesaving partnerships with overcrowded southern shelters.
