Mission

Since our founding in 1975, the Women's Center of Greater Danbury has been a safe haven as the sole provider of services to victims of domestic and sexual violence in the Northern Fairfield and Southern Litchfield County areas. Our mission is to serve the needs of individuals, families and the community with prevention, crisis intervention and support services with regard to domestic violence, sexual assault and other major life crises. Our vision is to end the violence against women, men and children and to foster equality and empowerment for all.
