The mission of the Women’s Business Development Council (WBDC) is to support economic prosperity for women and strengthen communities through entrepreneurial and financial education services that create and grow sustainable jobs and businesses across Connecticut.

Vision

WBDC is driven by the belief that the economy can only be as strong and resilient as the women who drive it and participate in it. WBDC's programming focuses on enhancing women's entrepreneurial skills and business acumen, facilitating access to historically elusive business capital, fostering economic self-sufficiency, and encouraging active participation in statewide and local economic growth.
