We envision a society where everyone is empowered to participate in our democracy.

Goals

1. 1.Developing internal organizational capacity will be essential to future expansion of CTDC’s programs, as well as increasing access to them. Priorities include: rebuilding a cohesive staff to close knowledge and performance gaps from recent turnover; strengthening HR infrastructure; and consolidating operations into a single administrative space.
2. 2.Long-term financial sustainability and responsible program growth will rely on updated marketing and fundraising strategies. Leveraging technology + priority investments of revenue and staff time should focus on marketing and promotion; CTDC/OSH branding, awareness, and commercialization; institutional funder relationship development; revenue diversification; and closing program funding gaps.
3. 3.CTDC’s mission impact can be expanded through data-driven planning, including research on participant and audience trends, feedback from mission-aligned foundations and philanthropists, and opportunities identified through the CT Civic Health Assessment and CT Civics Seals rollout. This will strengthen existing programs, including KG and CHD, and support CTDC’s planned launch of Project Citizen.
