Both the Chief Advocacy Officer and Operations Consultant have taken part in 3-4 Candid/GuideStar webinars on compliance and fundraising. They have spent over three hours on Zoom sessions to refine best practices with outside counsel and accountants. Finally, the charity, with the assistance of outside counsel, revised its Bylaws, which were approved on February 9, 2022.

Fans for the Cure has expanded to online offerings. The charity now offers a biweekly Men's Support Group and a monthly Women's Support Group. The Men's Group has over 225 registrants and an average attendance of 30-40 men. The charity has also begun a 15x a year Stay in the Game podcast about prostate cancer, hosted by radio personality and charity founder, Ed Randall. Guests have included men who have journeyed with prostate cancer, physicians, public health officials, and caregivers. Stay in the Game was ranked as the #1 prostate cancer podcast for 2021 by media evaluator, FeedSpot. Finally, the annual Baseball Road Trip has gone away from volunteers handing out materials at ballparks to an initiative involving scoreboard videos (this year's features baseball legend, Steve Garvey, and Negro Leagues Museum president, Bob Kendrick), with PSA screenings conducted in collaboration with healthcare partners at about fifteen of the games. The charity has also gone away from a large-scale gala of 400-500 guests to three smaller dinners around the country. Last year, the Yankee Stadium screening also became a virtual event but still resulted in 250 men availing themselves of a free PSA screening through the New York - Presbyterian health system.
In short, Fans for the Cure has begun or morphed to more online and virtual events in light of Covid.
