The New England Air Museum’s mission is to preserve and present the story of aviation and aerospace, with an emphasis on New England’s role, and the genius and inspiration that made it possible.

Inspire young people to be the aerospace dreamers, innovators and workforce of the future.

Goals

1.• Acquiring, restoring, preserving and presenting iconic and historically significant aircraft and artifacts. • Engaging visitors with captivating exhibits explaining the technology, history and people that created these famous machines. • Providing an accessible repository for historical material, research and expertise relating to our collection.
2.Inspire people of all ages, through our education programs, to learn more about aviation and aerospace and aspire to be part of its future.
3.Ensure that all community members, included those who may be underrepresented, will find a story within the museum that resonates with their life experiences.
