Black Veterans for Social Justice Inc.

Mission

We will provide program services to assist military personnel making a smooth transition from active duty to civilian life. We are dedicated to servicing military personnel, veterans and their families in the areas of social readjustment, housing, employment, compensation, disability, substance abuse, medical treatment, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, family intervention, prison counseling and relocation into the community, legal advocacy, discharge upgrade and redress of grievances within and outside the military. We will provide counseling, benefits information and “tender loving care and a listening ear”!

Vision

Our vision is to support veterans of all races and discharge statuses with issues ranging from homelessness, affordable housing, employment, mental health/PTSD, suicide prevention and reintegration. We want to support them by providing a listening ear to actual programs that deliver financial or other structural support. It is our goal to let Veterans know that there's a place where they fit and can provide support.
