Vision

Our vision is to support veterans of all races and discharge statuses with issues ranging from homelessness, affordable housing, employment, mental health/PTSD, suicide prevention and reintegration. We want to support them by providing a listening ear to actual programs that deliver financial or other structural support. It is our goal to let Veterans know that there's a place where they fit and can provide support.

Goals

1. 1.Improve BVSJ operations to continue to deliver quality services to veterans, their families and the community. Technology can be applied to improve outreach, processing, support, and access.
2. 2.Establish and maintain a workforce that meets the needs of the organization. Be the employer of choice. Additionally, we want our team to be driven by their actual impact on constituents.
3. 3.Strengthening the economic stability of Black Veterans for Social Justice, Inc. by moving from 100% programmatic funding to earning funding from donors, corporations and foundations.
