Mission

Queens Public Library transforms lives by cultivating personal and intellectual growth and by building strong communities. Queens Public Library Foundation was established to raise funds from foundations, corporations, and private individuals to support the free programs and services offered by Queens Public Library.

Goals

1.To fill funding and resource gaps in Queens Public Library’s ongoing programs, services, and collections, both virtually and across all 66 branch locations in Queens county.
2.To provide funding to Queens Public Library’s staff to launch innovative programs that are responsive to the needs of the Queens community.
3.To maintain strong relationships with Library donors and ensure transparency and accountability in our fundraising.
