Vision

Educating the residents of Eastern Long Island about Wildlife safety, as well as rehabilitation, in order to lessen the threat. By having an environmental and education center, in addition to the rehabilitation center, and acting as advocates on behalf of our native wildlife, we can continually help wildlife thrive in our area.

Goals

1. 1.More education programs in schools, libraries and public areas to meet our animal ambassadors, giving attendees information about the animals and what the public can do to protect them.
2. 2.Have the Board and senior staff act as advocates for wildlife on Eastern Long Island by lobbying public officials to pass measures like Dark Skies, Bird Safe windows and pesticide free lawns.
3. 3.Create more enclosures & habitats and an indoor education space, to attract the public to learn how to help protect wildlife in our area
