THE CENTERS MISSION IS TO OPERATE AND MAINTAIN A MARINE EDUCATION AND RECREATION CENTER TO FOSTER UNDERSTANDING, ENJOYMENT, AND STEWARDSHIP OF OYSTER BAY, LONG ISLAND SOUND, AND THE COASTAL ENVIRONMENT. THE CENTER CONDUCTS ENVIRONMENTAL PROGRAMS AND WORKSHOPS YEAR ROUND.
