THE PURPOSE OF THE MONTAUK HISTORICAL SOCIETY IS TO COLLECT, RESTORE, PRESERVE AND DISPLAY HISTORICALLY SIGNIFICANT BUILDINGS, OBJECTS AND WRITINGS AND TO PRESERVE AND SHARE THE HISTORY AND CULTURES OF MONTAUK AND THE EAST END FOR THIS AND FUTURE GENERATIONS.
