The nonprofit organization presents evidence of strategic thinking and goal setting through sharing their most important strategic goals.
Goal One: The UIA continuously monitors cultural, social, and geopolitical shifts affecting our community. By analyzing these changes quarterly, we identify emerging issues that require deeper exploration. We then design and launch at least two new events each year that directly respond to these evolving needs, ensuring our offerings remain timely, relevant, and impactful for our community.
Goal Two: By leveraging marketing, partnerships, and community outreach, the UIA actively works to broaden the reach and accessibility of its programs and engage new audiences — including communities with limited prior exposure to Ukrainian culture or means to access our programming — ensuring that Ukraine’s vibrant culture and heritage are shared widely across American society.
Goal Three: The UIA advances cultural advocacy by promoting awareness of Ukrainian heritage, contemporary arts, and democratic values. Through strategic partnerships and public programs, we ensure that Ukraine is recognized, understood, and respected by broader audiences.
