1.The Jane Addams Children's Book Award recognizes books of literary and aesthetic excellence that effectively engage children in thinking about peace, social justice, global community, and equity.
2.The Books In their Hands programs bring authors and illustrators into schools to encourage dialogue and promote books where young people feel seen, celebrated, valued, and empowered.
3.Expand our social media presence and fundraising to provide author visits to schools across the county.
