NAFSA organizes an annual conference in which members of the community present their research. NAFSA staff members present at conferences and are published in journals and magazines. NAFSA also advocates on all levels for immigration reform.

The last year has seen a great interest in in-person interactions after 2 years of digital work and conferences. NAFSA responded to this by bringing our signature event back to an in-person format but with modifications to ensure the health and safety of attendees. While the event was smaller than in previous iterations, it was very successful. In addition, we are currently reworking our partnership opportunities to better reflect the organization's offerings and provide benefits to both NAFSA members and to sponsors.
