Mission
Emunah of America since 1935, provides donors, advocates, and volunteers the organization they require to care for the most vulnerable at-risk children and families in Israel and special projects in the United States. Emunah of America drives social change by leading, mobilizing, and engaging volunteers to raise the necessary funds to change and impact lives. Emunah of America's activities focuses on supporting education, social welfare programs aiming to strengthen the Jewish family, advancing women's status, and Holocaust and anti-bias education in Israel and the United States. Our primary beneficiaries are Emunah Israel educational centers, crisis centers & homes for children at risk in Israel-and other non-profits that partner with Emunah of America. All charity partners focus on social services for those in need.
Vision
Emunah of America seeks to provide longterm skills and support to children and families throughout Israel via dozens of educational and therapeutic programs to break the cycle of distress and ensure our service recipients are able to lead safe, healthy, and transformed lives.
Goals
- 1.We improved financial management practices, enhanced technological infrastructure, streamlined operational processes, & invested in staff development. We implemented Monday.com, additional training on CRM, streamlined branding colors, fonts & look in marketing materials, & reviewed audit providers. We hired a major gift officer to increase fundraising with Federations & private foundations.
- 2.We increased capacity across our children’s homes, expanded trauma care in counseling centers, &broadened access to early childhood education in day care centers. We enhanced vocational & life-skills training to better prepare teens for independent adulthood. Emunah expanded community partnerships, staff training, & new educational and therapeutic models to meet the evolving needs.
- 3.We launched new local chapters to engage more volunteers, elevate community awareness, & mobilize support around our core cause areas. We partnered with mission-aligned nonprofits, coalitions, & communal organizations to amplify our voice, coordinate advocacy efforts, & increase our collective impact. This reinforced our reach & public engagement.
