On November 13, 2019, The Wall Street Journal reported on the findings of the Office of Victims Services’ investigation of Institute for the Puerto Rican Hispanic Elderly in an article titled, "New York City Gives $5.3 Million in Contracts to Nonprofit That Owes Debt to State."
