Mission

IAVI was founded in 1996 to address the dire need for an HIV/AIDS vaccine to end the AIDS pandemic. Since then, we have harnessed our expertise to develop an expanded portfolio of cutting-edge innovations addressing diseases of high unmet need, including those with pandemic potential that lack commercial incentive. Our lean but agile team catalyzes promising scientific innovation to tackle the most pressing global health challenges and pioneer novel partnership strategies to translate scientific discovery into real-world impact.
