Mission

Founded in 1969, UNFPA is the lead United Nations sexual and reproductive health and rights agency. Today, UNFPA works in more than 150 countries to ensure every pregnancy is wanted, every childbirth is safe, and every woman and girl can reach her fullest potential. Established in 1998 by concerned Americans, USA for UNFPA is a US-based nonprofit organization dedicated to building support for UNFPA's global work. We raise awareness about global reproductive health, mobilize support to provide lifesaving care to women and girls worldwide, and advocate for gender equality.

Goals

1.Raise $100 million towards UNFPA’s three transformative results: ending the unmet need for family planning, ending preventable maternal deaths, ending gender-based violence and harmful practices.
2.Grow individual and leadership giving, planned giving as well as partnerships program.
3.Invest in strong organizational foundations by growing our staff and Board and upgrading systems and technology.
