The Childrens Scholarship Fund

Mission

The Children’s Scholarship Fund (CSF) empowers families by providing children in need with scholarships, and by supporting expanded educational opportunities for all children. At CSF, we believe a quality education puts children on the path to success in life. We expand educational opportunity by providing scholarships to families in need so children can receive an education that best meets their needs and helps them reach their full potential, regardless of their ability to pay or where they live. With our partner programs nationwide, CSF currently funds and manages scholarships for more than 38,700 children. These CSF Scholars live close to/below the federal poverty line yet their families are all paying at least 25 percent of their tuition each year. We believe this financial contribution is key to our program's success, encouraging strong family involvement and ensuring that CSF families are fully invested and empowered in their children's education. Our research finds CSF Scholars graduate high school on time and enroll in college at significantly higher rates than their public school peers.
