Mission

Room to Grow promotes equity and opportunity by helping children thrive from the start. We do this by equipping families in low income circumstances with crucial resources needed throughout a child’s first three years of life.

Goals

1.Room to Grow will re-evaluate our theory of change, curriculum, service delivery model, and program evaluation methods and make updates as needed. Room to Grow is engaging in a thorough assessment of our program to ensure we are addressing the goals, needs, and preferences of today’s families, many of which have changed since our inception in 1998.
2.Room to Grow will launch operations in Chicago. A rigorous landscape analysis conducted in 2023 revealed a need for our program in Chicago. We are currently in the process of learning about the city’s communities and building strategic relationships with local CBOs, community leaders, funders, and other stakeholders.
3.Room to Grow will strengthen our existing operations in preparation for future growth. Elements of our operational infrastructure pose barriers to the scalability of our program. We are addressing these barriers by updating and codifying internal processes and investing in tools and systems to streamline our operations.
