Vision

The Community Foundation for Nantucket works to enhance the well-being of our community by addressing critical issues and supporting the social, physical, cultural, economic, and environmental conditions essential for all Islanders to flourish and fulfill their potential.

Goals

1. 1.Goal 1: Increase awareness of the Nantucket Fund and the services CFN provides. Objective: Increase community engagement and recognition through increased grant making, targeted outreach campaigns, partnerships, and events increasing our overall visibility.
2. 2.Goal 2: Grow the Nantucket Fund to Increase Annual Grantmaking Objective: Expand the Nantucket Fund (NF) to support the foundation’s mission of enhancing the community’s well-being. Our target is to grow the NF to $15 million by the end of 2025 and grant $1 million in 2025 and, with sufficient funding annually, thereafter, enabling impactful, sustainable support to local organizations and causes.
3. 3.Goal 3: Increase Total Assets and Diversify Donor Engagement Objective: Strengthen the foundation’s financial sustainability by growing total assets to $32 million, increasing donor-advised funds (DAFs), expanding scholarship funds, legacy giving, pledges, and nonprofit endowment funds.
