Mission

LitWorld aims to strengthen kids and communities through the power of their own stories. We work with a broad coalition of national and international partners to ensure that young people worldwide can experience the joy and transformation of reading, writing, and storytelling. Our year-round, child-centered programming is designed to develop each of the 7 Strengths which LitWorld sees as inherent in every child. Our programs encourage self-expression, build understanding, and cultivate confidence, using literacy as a tool and pathway for self-empowerment.

1.ELEVATE PARTNERSHIPS: Develop & pilot Innovation Partner model to deepen programs and measure impact current partners. Activate, amplify, and connect community-based organizations and leaders
2.PROGRAMS: Create and scale innovative programs for children and families. Implement new quantitative program data collection protocols Launch Innovation Projects. Build strategic partnerships
3.STORIES: Develop thought leadership and deepen global understanding of the power of literacy and voice in achieving equity
