    Mission

    AMIT strengthens Israeli society by educating and nurturing children from diverse backgrounds within a framework of academic excellence, Jewish values and Zionist ideals. Founded in 1925, AMIT operates 88 schools, youth villages, surrogate family residences and more across 32 cities, constituting Israel's only government-recognized network of religious Jewish education incorporating academic and technological studies. The AMIT Network was selected by the Israel Ministry of Education as the leading education network across all measurements, including quality bagrut (matriculation exam), pedagogical innovation, bridging the gap for students of disadvantaged backgrounds, lowest dropout rate and integrity. AMIT’s values shine through its students: 98% of AMIT graduates serve in the IDF/national service and 90% graduate high school with a bagrut. Providing essential emotional support, AMIT encourages Israeli youth to dream big and reach their potential, cementing its indelible impact on Israel’s educational landscape.
