Goals

1. 1.Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) are the lifeblood of our mission. They provide critical counseling, support, and care to the people to whom we provide services. It is our top priority to compensate fairly and provide supportive and effective leadership to our workforce.
2. 2.Technology continues to grow and evolve rapidly, creating opportunities for organizations to become efficient and effective in ways that were not possible before. We intend to leverage systems and technologies for efficient and effective operations in ways that support our workforce and improve outcomes for the people that we serve.
3. 3.We have learned that growing through slowly developing mergers doesn't work, and it wastes time and resources. We will not entertain mergers or acquisitions unless the other party relinquishes its claim to the organization or programs becoming part of Abilities First. Although it is a slower way to grow, we will continue to entertain organic growth by expanding services internally.
