Highland Public Library

Mission

The purpose of the Highland Public Library is to connect community members of all ages with materials, programs and services which encourage lifelong learning, personal growth and enjoyment. The library will provide resources in the most efficient manner possible assembling print and non-print materials, introducing new technologies to provide reliable and relevant information. This service is provided on a fair and equitable basis to all individuals residing in the Highland Central School District

Goals

1.HPL provides diverse, inclusive programming that reflects the interest of our community. . Through arts, cultural, educational, and lifelong learning opportunities, the Library strives to create meaningful and accessible programs for everyone.
2.We are seeking funding to bring Dolly Parton's Imagination Library to our community. The program is a nationally recognized early-literacy initiative that provides one free, high-quality, age-appropriate book each month to children from birth until their fifth birthday, regardless of income.
