Family Law Casa of King County

Mission

Family Law CASA (FLCASA) advocates for children in complex custody cases across King County so they have the best chance for a safer, more secure home life, advancing equity for low-income families and significantly reducing the risk of abuse and neglect.

Vision

Using community volunteers, Family Law CASA of King County gives children’s needs a voice in court, strengthening family relationships while encouraging emotional and physical security to stop childhood trauma and create healthier kids, families and communities.

Goals

1.Serve 180+ kids per year through 100+ high-risk custody cases in King County family court, advocating for their safe futures
2.Ensure financial sustainability through a strategic revenue plan raising $1.25M in 2024-2025 and $1.6M by 2027
3.Advance diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging through partnership with community-led organizations, advocacy for systems change and creation of a community advisory council.
