Rise Against Hunger

Mission

Driven by the vision of a world without hunger, Rise Against Hunger, an international humanitarian organization, is growing a global movement to end hunger by nourishing lives, empowering communities and responding to emergencies. Rise Against Hunger works to address hunger by targeting remote, last-mile communities within hunger pockets designated "serious" or higher by the Global Hunger Index. We strive to make an impact on hunger by building resilience, self-sufficiency and empowerment in communities worldwide. Through our Pathways to End Hunger (Empowering Communities, Nourishing Lives, Responding to Emergencies and Growing the Movement), we provide immediate nourishment for those in need today and implement sustainable solutions that will empower entire communities for years to come.

1.860,000 people affected by food insecurity have the knowledge, skills and assets necessary to ensure their food and nutrition security by 2027.
2.By 2027, 10,270,000 people affected by food insecurity consistently receive nutritious food through educational settings, First 1,000 Days and dietary supplementation
3.By 2027, 3,060,000 people will receive support through rapid response in protracted crises and sudden onset disasters
